Shop Til You Drop On Black Friday in Myrtle Beach

Each year, American families and friends come together for fellowship and feasting to honor the centuries-old national holiday of Thanksgiving. Since George Washington recognized it in 1789, the holiday has grown to include much more than just food and family. In fact, one of the most exciting parts of the holiday season takes place on the day after Thanksgiving: Black Friday.

Black Friday has become one of the biggest shopping days of the year in the United States, and Myrtle Beach’s reputation for extensive shopping and dining makes it the perfect place for all of your holiday shopping. Three of the Grand Strand’s most prominent areas for Black Friday shopping include Tanger Outlets, Coastal Grand Mall, and Market Common.

Both Tanger Outlets on Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach and Tanger Outlets on Highway 501 in Myrtle Beach will begin their holiday shopping hours at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday hours will go from midnight until 10 p.m. on November 25. Stores on-site include Nike, Coach, Polo, Forever 21, and much more!

In Myrtle Beach, Coastal Grand Mall will revert back to the hustle and bustle of Black Friday by closing its doors on Thanksgiving Day. In an effort to allow shoppers and workers to spend more time with family and friends on Thanksgiving, the mall will be opening for business at 6 a.m. on Friday. From JC Penny to GameStop to Bed Bath and Beyond, Coastal Grand Mall will have tons of door-buster sales for shoppers.

The Market Common, just south of Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach, will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day. In an effort to bring back the magic of the day after Thanksgiving, the shopping and dining district will reopen the following morning. Black Friday shopping will take place from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on November 25. Stores include Pottery Barn, Barnes & Noble, Charming Charlie’s, and many more!

From North Myrtle Beach to Myrtle Beach and even further south, there are thousands of shopping opportunities to keep you busy on Black Friday. Take advantage of South Carolina’s premier shopping destination with a Thanksgiving vacation to Myrtle Beach!
